My dad got Rockband....
So my mom got my dad Rock Band for Christmas, and my family has been playing for the past 5 hours straight.
I think my eyes are strained for staring at the television.
On the bright side, I got a projector for Christmas so look forward to some great movie nights at the Purple House!
Hollllllla!
Well it's been a while...
I hope you all had a marvelous Christmas.
I was in Vancouver, B.C. with no cellphone or internet connection!
Anyways, I have three minutes left on the battery, so more updates to come, I suppose.
I hate you White Christmas!
I have been sick the past couple of days. It has been snowing so much here, which is fun, for a while. Except for the fact that my body can’t handle it, and now I am dying. Thanks weather. I am not dying, but I am just rather congested with a sore throat and I have a problem getting my body at the right temperature. I fell asleep extremely cold and woke up at 5AM extremely hot and not...

Thoughts of the (yester)Day
1. Buca di Beppo = too much food
2. Walking up the snowy hill in heels = bad idea
3. The Godfather = really really long
4. Anchorman = Seth Rogan was in it??
5. Christmas Cards in mail = thanks Veronica!
6. Matching outfits with bf’s mom (red peacoat, black pants, black boots) = not embaressing, of course
Uh oh
So yesterday night, I could not go to sleep because my throat was so sore. It was painful to swallow, so I downed a whole bunch of water but it didn’t help at all. So I WebMD’d it, and they said TAKE IBUPROFEN. I found some in the medecin cabinet and popped one in my mouth. I never take drugs, so I was in some pretty intense pain.
This morning I was going to take another one, and...

3) John and Kate Plus Eight on TLC

Comments?
So I just added commentary to my blog. So if you have something to say, say it.
But be nice.
WHAT???
I just found out that my parents applied for American citizenship. After 17 years living in the US, my parents decided that it was time to join this wonderful country, or at least try, kissing Canada goodbye.
Know how I found out?
By reading a rough draft of my mom’s Christmas newsletter that was in the recycling bin.

Kudos Mr. President
At a press conference in Afghanistan, a reporter through BOTH his shoes at President Bush.
He dodged both of them. They were going straight for his head!
What would have happened if it were Mccain?
So...
I really have nothing interesting to talk about today.
Hmmm…
Well I did rekindle my love for one-piece swimsuits and will be bringing a handful back with me to California.
And I love dim sum.

Back in Bellevue
So I come home and here are the movies that are sitting on the coffee table that my father has recently purchased:
1. Don’t Mess with the Zohan
2. Across the Universe
3. Spider-Man 3
4. Sex and the City— “my mother’s comment: No I dont’ want to see that with you. I don’t like sex OR the city!”
5. Vantage Point
6. Get Smart
Quality!
Oh, and...
Must do...
laundry
studying
thai food
pack
celebrate
celine dion, lead the way.
Lessons of the day...
1. Dont’ go to your finals an hour and a half late.
2. Wear a long sleeve shirt under an itchy sweater.
3. Know your “favorite” Angels baseball player before they ask you.
4. Don’t order so much Mexican food. There’s only so much rice, beans and beef you can eat.
5. Don’t dwell on bad vibes. Who really cares.
6. GET EXCITED FOR FRIDAY!
Summary of the Day
I do realize that the day is not nearly finished, but here I go, rebelling against whatever force is against writing day summaries at 6PM.
I had my first group interview today. I am normally not nervous about interviews, but when I figured out that this wouldn’t be a one-on-one interview, and I would be sitting next to four other eager girls who wanted to see me trip on my words, I got...
Repercussion of Bolting Flesh
So yesterday night was the infamous “Undie Run” at Chapman University. I was unable to participate, but have witnessed the event last Spring semester.
Students run in their skimmers from Memorial Lawn to the Circle’s Fountain, in a massive [mostly-intoxicated] herd. Neighbors creepily take pictures from the side.
After driving through the circle, I saw a sad looking...
According to my intercultural comm. textbook...
There are 5 million illegal immigrants —about half being in California.
I swear, I have a green card!

Reading Recommendation
I just finished reading a couple of Oscar Wilde’s plays, and they are marvelous. I very much recommend reading Importance of Being Earnest. Hilarious! If you’re into that kind of stuff. Seriously though, it’s a nice quick read, especially if you need a break from studying for finals.
I would have made a good Pope.

Happy Birthday Jocelyn!
My girl Jocelyn is twenty today. No longer a teenager. PF Chang dinner was amazing. Hoorah for birthday dinners.
Tuesdays
Reasons why I like Tuesdays:
I actually don’t like Tuesdays.
But things that make Tuesdays not so dreadful:
1) Free song on ITunes!
2) Free song at Starbucks!
The Inaugural Hello
So this is not my first blog. But my previous blog was only used for ranting and raving about people or events that bothered me and so it didn’t go public. However, it was fun being able to type it down knowing that it was somewhere in the internet world. So this, I guess, is my first PUBLIC blog. It doesn’t have a theme yet, but is just a compilation of random news, items, songs,...
