Cool Girl Takes On January:

• Did some cool girl reading and finished five books. Okay, one was a YA book (The Hunger Games was really good!) and another was a self-indulgent autobiography written by a lovable comedian/writer for The Office but at least I read.
• Did some cool girl outdoorsy stuff. Went kayaking in Marina Del Ray, hiking in Laguna Canyon, biking on the Santa Monica boardwalk, tennis playing in a neighborhood court, eating on the patio at work - all courtesy of the warm January weather.
• Did some cool girl music listening at the M83 concert at Nokia Theater. I thanked God for short hipsters wearing their flat boots so I was able to see the stage. 
• Did some cool girl overtime at work. 
• Did some cool girl introductions of cool guy meeting other cool friends.
