For what used to be a food blog is now just an ordinary rambling. Stay fed, friends.
A quick trip to Vancouver, B.C.
Naomi and I took a weekend trip up north to our native land to surprise my Grandma (bottom photo) for her 83rd birthday. She teared up a bit, meaning we’re really important to her. (Jordan, on the other hand, did not tear up when he saw us.)
Not pictured - - We also got a night on the town with our cousins from my mom’s side, or what my mom would say “a night out with four loose women.” (Don’t really know what that means, mom.) Usually whenever we go up to Canada our days and nights are filled with family time so this was a rare treat. Naturally, a lot of drinking, laughing and eating happened. Basically it was like hanging out with the parents except with alcohol and less games, pictures taken and Christmas carol singing.
